at which time the bids will be publicly open and read in the Office of Procurement. The City of Springfield invites all interested, qualified persons or firms capable of providing the requested services, to submit bids to enter into an agreement to provide storefront replacement services for the Mason Square Library in Springfield, MA. This bid falls under M.G.L. Ch. 149 and other procurement statutes.

Work includes, but is not limited to: Replacement of two storefront and window wall systems at the main entrance to the building. Estimated value of the contract is approximately $50,000.00. Bid documents can be requested through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com (during normal business hours) beginning on February 12, 2025.

It is strongly encouraged to attend a site visit on February 19, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Mason Square Library, 765 State St, Springfield, MA 01109. All questions regarding this bid or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement no later than February 20, 2025 (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) in order to be considered.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. Massachusetts DLS Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
