CART PATH REPAIR AT VETERANS AND FRANCONIA GOLF COURSES
SEALED BIDS FOR: A Prime/General Contractor contract are requested through the Office of Procurement. Bidding procedures are per Massachusetts General Laws (M.G.L.) Chapter 30 § 39M as amended and other applicable statutes.
The City of Springfield is seeking bids for the Cart Path repair work at Veterans (1059 South Branch Pkwy) and Franconia (619 Dwight Rd) Golf Courses.
Bids for Prime/General Contractor will be accepted at the Office of Procurement (Room 307 City Hall) until
2:00 PM: December 22, 2021 by:

at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read in the Office of Procurement Bid Room. Bidding procedures are per Massachusetts General Laws (M.G.L.) Chapter 30 §39M as amended and other applicable statutes and reflects the changes of Chapter 193 of the Acts of 2004 relative to M.G.L.c.23A &44 AND M.G.L. c. 7, and 44N.
Bid documents will be available December 8, 2021 at City of Springfield Office of Procurement, 36 Court St., Room 307, Springfield, MA 01103.
All bidders are advised that the minimum wage rate schedule, issued by the Massachusetts Department of Labor and Standards are included in the specifications and shall prevail in the work on this project. All bidders are advised the City has a 20% goal for MWBE participation.
Site Visit: Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend a site visit scheduled for December 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. beginning at Franconia Golf Course followed by Veterans Golf Course. All questions regarding specifications must be submitted in writing, no later than December 16, 2021 by 4:30p.m. Questions must be submitted to the attention of Hope Button, Deputy Procurement Officer. The Deputy Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in, or to reject any or all responses, if in the public interest to do so.
The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
