The City of Springfield School Building Commission is seeking competitive bids for Furnishing and Delivering of School Furniture and Equipment to The Elias Brookings School for the following categories: Section 101 - Miscellaneous Furniture & Equipment; Section 102 - Office Furniture & Equipment: Section 103 - Library Furniture & Equipment; Section 104 - Metal Storage Shelving; Section 105 - Cafeteria Furniture.

The estimated total cost is $446,000.00 dollars.

A Bid Security in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount bid must accompany each bid. Certified or bank checks only, letters of credit or bonds accepted. Bonds must be from surety companies licensed by the Commonwealth of Insurance to transact business in Massachusetts.

All Bids shall be in conformance with the provisions of Chapter 30B of the Massachusetts General Laws.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.

The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement at least seven business days prior to bid opening.
