10-217 - RFP: Title I Educational Services for Non-Public School Students

The City of Springfield Public Schools Title I Program is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to furnish educational services according to the requirements of the federally-funded Title I Program to eligible students enrolled in non-public, private, and religious schools.

The purpose of this RFP is to find and contract a qualified third party to provide supplemental educational and counseling services to non-public students. Services will be delivered to those students who meet the eligibility criteria and who reside in eligible school attendance areas. Those attendance areas designated as school-wide or local school projects in the public school sector will determine the number of eligible students.

The estimated total cost of this RFP is $70,624.00. The per-pupil allocation is approximately $250.00 per child. This proposal covers a two year time period. The first time period is from December 1, 2009 through August 31, 2010 and the second time period is September 1, 2010 through August 31, 2011.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Department of Purchase at least seven business days prior to bid opening.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.

The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
