The Sumner Avenue Fire Station is located at 1043 Sumner Avenue in the East Forest Park Section of Springfield, MA. There is one building on this site. The building sits on the corner of Sumner Avenue and Howes Street. The building has 2 floors and a basement. The total area of the building is approximately 6,630 square feet. 1043 Sumner Avenue, parcel # 11280-0330, lot size 5,000 square feet, Zoned Residence B. The assessed value of the property is $202,900.
For proposers seeking to propose housing use, a zoning change will not be required, but the development of onsite parking will be required. Commericial proposals will require a zonign change.
The property is being sold "as is" and the City makes no representations regarding the environmental and/or physical condition of the properties and will require the buyer to assume responsibility for these conditions.
