The Springfield Redevelopment Authority (hereafter SRA), acting by and through the City of Springfield (hereafter CITY) is requesting proposals for the reuse of the following property located in the City's Old Hill neighborhood and listed below:

The CITY/SRA will entertain all offers that approximate or exceed the City/SRA's determination of the fair market/minimum price of this property.

MINIMUM BID PRICE FOR THE PROPERTY IS $10,000. (A copy of the appraisal is available for review during normal business hours at the Office of Planning and Economic Development, located at 70 Tapley Street).

The property is being sold "as is" and the City makes no representations regarding the environmental condition of the property and will require the buyer to assume responsibility for these conditions.

The City is interested in proposals that utilize the parcel as parking or a side yard.

Questions regarding the RFP may also be submitted in writing to the Purchase Department. In order to provide prompt answers to questions, the RFP Review Committee requests that all Proposers submit written questions ten days prior to the RFP response deadline. Accordingly, questions must be received in writing only at the City of Springfield's, Department of Purchase not later than close of business on February 28, 2007. Questions may be faxed or mailed.
