at which time the bids will be privately opened and logged at the Office of Procurement. RFQ specifications can be requested through the City’s website, www.springfieldcityhall.com, beginning on June 17th, 2026.

The City of Springfield is inviting proposals for consultants to provide Building Commissioning Services for the Department of Capital Assets and Construction for a variety of important services on an 'as needed' basis. The initial term of this contract will be for One (1) year, but will include Two (2) one-year in length renewal options, to be exercised at the City’ sole discretion. The City anticipates awarding a contract with an estimated value of $250,000.00.

All questions regarding this bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement no later than June 24th 2026 by 4:00 P.M. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
