at which time they will be publicly opened and read in the Office of Procurement. The City of Springfield invites all interested, qualified persons or firms capable of providing the requested goods, to submit bids. These IFBs are subject to M.G.L. Ch. 30B § 5.

Bid 25-153 – The City will award a Contract to up to Five (5) bidders that provide the lowest cost for the purchase and delivery of various glass supplies. The initial term of the Contract will be one year, but will contain two (2) one-year renewal options, to be exercised at the City’s sole discretion. The contract will be for $50,000.00 per year.

Bid documents can be requested through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com (during normal business hours) beginning on March 24, 2025. All questions regarding the IFB or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement on or before April 1, 2025 by 4:30 P.M. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. The Chief Procurement Officer or designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all proposals if it is in the public interest to do so.
