25-100 - Supply and Delivery of Various Pool Chemicals and Supplies

The City of Springfield is seeking a qualified vendor to provide swimming pool balancing chemicals for Eleven (11) City school pools and Two (2) outdoor municipal pools, owned and operated by the City of Springfield. Vendor will be responsible for the transportation of the chemicals to the various pools and to pick up all empty chemical containers. The estimated value of the contract is not to exceed $50,000.00 per year. The initial term of the contract awarded is One (1) year in length, and the City will retain Two (2) one-year in length renewal options. This bid falls under M.G.L. c.30B § 5 and other procurement statutes.

All questions regarding the IFB or its specifications must be received in writing by the Office of Procurement on or before January 13, 2025 by 4:30 P.M. (akusekoski@springfieldcityhall.com) in order to be considered. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
