25-096 - RFQ: Engineering and Architectural Services for the Union Station Roadway and Regreening Project

Request for Qualification Package will be available beginning Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at the Office of Procurement. Bidders can request a copy on the City’s website on the Procurement Department page at www.springfieldcityhall.com.

Services Required: The City of Springfield (“City”) Department of Public Works (DPW) invites all interested and qualified Roadway Design Engineers and Landscape Architecture Firms to provide Professional Services to prepare design plans and specifications for the Union Station Roadway and Regreening Project in Springfield, MA.

The project area consists of a number of individual areas in and around Union Station. The designer will be required to complete all phases of survey, design, specifications, estimates, permitting etc. required by the Grant agreement executed by the City with HUD.

The exact project scope and design fee will be negotiated with the selected firm.

The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.

The City of Springfield will hold a non-mandatory pre-submission conference at 10:00AM on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at 70 Tapley Street, Springfield, MA 01104. It is highly suggested that firms wishing to submit a response to this RFQ attend the conference to be able to address any issues or ask any questions.

All questions regarding RFQ or its specifications must be received in writing to the Office of Procurement no later than Friday, February 28, 2025 at 4:00 P.M. lstabilo@springfieldcityhall.com
