at which time the bids will be publicly open and read in the Office of Procurement. The City of Springfield invites all interested, qualified persons or firms capable of providing the requested services, to submit bids to enter into an agreement to provide improvements to Angelina Park, 1192 Page Boulevard, Springfield MA 01104. This bid falls under M.G.L. Ch. 30§39M and other procurement statutes.

Project includes installation of sediment & erosion controls, earthwork, installation of owner-furnished site furnishings, installation of new playground structure and equipment, cast-in-place concrete work, bituminous asphalt walkway, fencing and landscaping. Estimated value of the contract is approximately $95,000.00. Bid documents can be requested through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com (during normal business hours) beginning on December 4, 2024.

It is strongly encouraged to attend a site visit on December 12, 2024 at 10:00 AM on site. All questions regarding this bid or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement no later than December 12, 2024 by 4:30 P.M. (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) in order to be considered. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. MA DLS Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
