End date: Monday November 4, 2024 at 2 p.m.60 Byers Street is a multi-unit structure that is currently vacant and located in Springfields Metro Center neighborhood with an assessed value of $95,900.00. The parcel is located in a high-density residential location that has been defined as the government, business, and cultural center for the City. It is zoned for Residence C and is .09 acres. The City will entertain all competitive bids for the property including bids that may be less than the current assessed value. Bidders are subject to all current zoning, building restrictions and controls as well as design review by the Office of Planning and Economic Development. Bidders must be current on all taxes, fines, fees and other debts and liabilities, or payment plans that they have with the City. Any bidder with a significant history of non-compliance with Code Enforcement will be disqualified
The City has secured up to $300,000.00 in Community Preservation Act (CPA) funding that may be utilized by the developer for exterior repairs. No income restrictions are applied to these funds and the CPA funds will be an interest free, forgivable loan not to exceed $300,000.00. Additional information regarding funding will be contained within the bid specifications.
In order to issue a timely response, the Chief Procurement Officer requests that all proposers submit written questions to the Office of Procurement, not later than October 4, 2024. Questions may be emailed to lstabilo@springfieldcityhall.com. The Chief Procurement Officer may, in its sole and absolute discretion, reject any and all, or parts of any and all proposals; may re-advertise this RFP if so inclined; postpone or cancel at any time this RFP process; change, adjust, or modify the anticipated schedule of events.
