25-032 - On-Call General Tree Work

The City of Springfield is seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide general tree work, which will include removing, pruning and proper disposal of trees and debris as required by City Forester. The work will be done on an on-call basis, and will be separate from emergency operations. The City intends to award a contract to up to Three (3) contractors that are the lowest responsible and eligible bidder(s). The estimated value of the contract is not to exceed $100,000.00 per year. The initial term of the contract awarded is One (1) year with option to renew for two (2) additional years. This bid is subject to M.G.L. Ch. 30§39M and other applicable procurement statues

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement no later than September 5, 2024 by 4:30 P.M. to Abbie Kusekoski at akusekoski@springfieldcityhall.com. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all bids if it is in the publics interest to do so. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.
