25-015 - Price Agreement for Purchase of Fertilizers and Pesticides for Municipal Golf Courses and City Parks

The City is seeking qualified vendors to furnish and deliver pesticides and fertilizer supplies for municipal golf courses and City parks to the Department of Parks, Buildings & Recreation Management of the City of Springfield. The City intends to award a contract to up to five (5) vendors that are the most responsible and responsive bidders offering the lowest prices. The total value of all contracts awarded from this IFB is estimated to be a value of $500,000.00.

All bidders are advised that the City of Springfield encourages the use of minority and women-owned business enterprises (“MWBE”) and expects a good faith effort to comply with the City’s goal of twenty (20%) percent MWBE participation.

The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.

All questions regarding the IFB or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement on or before August 13, 2024 by 4:30 P.M. (nsantaniello@springfieldcityhall.com) in order to be considered.
