at which time the bids will be privately opened and logged at the Office of Procurement. RFP specifications will be available beginning on May 6, 2024 through the City’s website, www.springfieldcityhall.com, during normal business hours.

The City of Springfield (“City”) is seeking qualifications and proposals and invites all interested, qualified persons or firms capable of providing Conservation & Preservation services, to submit proposals to restore and preserve, using recommended treatments, for the project entitled; “Conservation Services for Spanish American War Memorial”, a Springfield Public Monument located at the intersection of Main, Bradford and Plainfield Street, Springfield, MA 01104. Proposers must submit written questions no later than May 13, 2024 at 4:30 P.M. (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com.). This project has an estimated cost not to exceed $75,000.00, depending upon the project scope.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
