24-080 - For Sale: Forty-Five (45) Obsolete Police Department Vehicles

End date: Tuesday November 21, 2023 at 2 p.m.

City is requesting bids on the sale of forty-five (45) obsolete/scrap vehicles. The vehicles have been used for parts and are no longer any use to the department even as parts, vehicles should be purchased for scrap. Bidders wishing to view items may do so by contacting Sergeant Dennis L. Hackett Jr., Fleet Supervisor at (413) 787-6864 at Springfield Police Department at 130 Pearl Street, Springfield MA 01103.

All questions regarding the bid or its specifications must be made in writing and emailed to Abbie Kusekoski akusekoski@springfielcityhall.com or faxed to the Office of Procurement (413)787-6295 no later than November 13, 2023 in order to be considered. Answers to questions will be made through numbered addenda issued by the city.

The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
