at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read. Bid docs will be available at no cost, beginning on October 23, 2023.

The City is seeking contractors to furnish all necessary supervision, labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary, to supply, install, and repair various types of fencing throughout the City. The types of fencing may include, but are not limited to; ornamental, chain link, gates, and posts.

The City intends to award up to 3 potential contracts to the lowest responsible and eligible bidders. The estimated value of the contract shall not exceed $250,000.00 per year. The initial term is for one year, but will include two, one year in length renewal options, to be exercised at the City's sole discretion.

All questions regarding this bid must be received by the Office of procurement no later than October 31, 2023 by 4:00 P.M. to nsantaniello@springfieldcityhall.com

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
