24-042 - Price Agreement for Sand for Winter Sanding

The Springfield Department of Public Works is seeking to obtain a price agreement for Sand for Winter Sanding. The successful bidder must be capable of delivering a minimum of 500 tons in an 8 hour day. The estimated value of the contract is not to exceed $50,000.00. The term of the contract awarded is One (1) year in length. This bid is subject to M.G.L. c.30B § 5.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement no later than September 26, 2023 by 4:30 P.M. to Natalie Santaniello at nsantaniello@springfieldcityhall.com .

The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
