23-156 - Branch Library Security Guard Services
End date: Monday April 24, 2023 at 2 p.m.Library Department is seeking responses from qualified bidders for security guard services at four (4) branch libraries. The contractor will provide all labor and equipment necessary to provide the required services. The Contractor for branch library guard services shall be for a one (1) year term commencing on May 1, 2023 through April 30, 2024, with options to renew for up to two (2) additional one-year terms. This bid is subject to M.G.L. c.30B § 5.
All guards must have current Red Cross CPR certification and have passed a satisfactory CORI check performed through the contractor. Proof of satisfactory CORI check will be provided by the contractor to the Library Director’s Office on or before May 1, 2023.
The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.
All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be in writing and received by the Office of Procurement no later than April 13, 2023 by 4:30 P.M. to Abbie Kusekoski, Purchasing Agent at akusekoski@springfieldcityhall.com . The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
