at which time the proposals will be publicly opened and recorded in the Office of Procurement Bid Room. Bid documents will be available October 12, 2022 at the Office of Procurement.

The City of Springfield is issuing this Invitation for Bids to all interested contractors for the provision of labor and materials necessary to furnish and install a new timber frame pavilion at the Forest Park Picnic Grove on cement concrete slab (across from Rose Garden), with installation of accessible stone dust walkway, and owner-furnished site furnishings. The City hereby requests competitive sealed bids in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 149.

All questions must be submitted in writing and received no later than October 20, 2022 to hbutton@springfieldcityhall.com by 4:00 P.M. EST in order to be considered. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. The Deputy Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
