at which time the proposals will be privately opened and recorded in the OOP Bid Room. Proposal documents will be available August 29, 2022 at the Office of Procurement.

The City of Springfield is issuing this Request for Proposals to parties having an interest in providing administrative and program management assistance to the City of Springfield’s Community Preservation Committee. The City is interested in receiving proposals from individuals that have established the ability to successfully perform project management, research, leadership, and acting as a liaison between the public and a committee, board, or similar entity. The City hereby requests competitive sealed proposals in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30B, § 6.

The term of the contract is to be one year, with the City having the sole option to renew for a second and/or third year. The estimated contract value is not to exceed $47,000.00 per year.

All questions must be submitted in writing and received no later than September 2, 2022 to hbutton@springfieldcityhall.com by 4:00 P.M. EST in order to be considered. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. The Deputy Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
