23-010 - IFB: On-Call Commercial Kitchen Refrigeration Repairs

The City is seeking qualified on-call contractor for commercial kitchen refrigeration repairs for refrigeration equipment located in the Springfield Public Schools. Contractor is to provide labor and materials on an on-call basis as determined by the Springfield Public Schools.

The City intends to award a single contract for these services to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder(s). The initial term of the Contract will be One (1) year, but will include Two (2) one-year in length renewal options, to be exercised at the Citys sole discretion. The estimated value of the contract is not to exceed $100,000.00 per year.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received in writing by the Office of Procurement by August 18, 2022 at 4:30 P.M. (jmaxey@springfieldcityhall.com). The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty (20%) MWBE participation in all contracts. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
