at which time the proposals will be privately opened and recorded in the OOP Bid Room. Proposal documents will be available August 1, 2022 at the Office of Procurement.

The City of Springfield is issuing this Request for Proposals to all interested contractors for the provision of Fiscal Year 2023 personal property valuation services. The City of Springfield contains approximately 4,000 personal property accounts as of January 1, 2022. The project will consist of a valuation update of all personal property accounts, whether new or existing, within the City. The City hereby requests competitive sealed proposals in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30B, § 6.

The term of the contract is to be one year, with the City having the sole option to renew for a second and/or third year. The estimated contract value is not to exceed $85,000.00 per year.

All questions must be submitted in writing and received no later than August 8, 2022 to hbutton@springfieldcityhall.com by 4:30 P.M. EST in order to be considered. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. The Deputy Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
