at which time the bids will be privately opened and recorded in the OOP Bid Room. Bid documents will be available June 13, 2022 at the Office of Procurement.

The City of Springfield is issuing this Request for Proposals to Food Service Management companies who have an interest in preparing and providing packaged Senior Lunch Meals. The City is interested in receiving proposals from companies that have established the ability to successfully operate a program similar to the size and scope of our senior center meal program (100-150) plus meals per day. The City hereby requests competitive sealed proposals in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30B, § 6.

The term of the contract is to be one year, with the City having the sole option to renew for a second and/or third year. The estimated contract value is not to exceed $375,000.00 per year.

All questions must be submitted in writing and received no later than June 17, 2022 to hbutton@springfieldcityhall.com by 4:30 P.M. EST in order to be considered. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. The Deputy Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
