at which time they will be publicly opened and read in the Office of Procurement.
The City of Springfield is seeking Contractors to perform On-Call and Scheduled Generator Maintenance, Inspection, and Repairs at various locations. This IFB is subject to M.G.L. Ch. 149 and other procurement statutes.

The City intends to award a single contract for these services to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder(s). The initial term of the Contract will be one year, but will contain ONE (1) one-year renewal, to be exercised at the City’s sole discretion. The contract will be for $75,000.00 per year.

Bid documents can be requested through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com or in person (during normal business hours) beginning on April 13, 2022. All questions regarding the IFB or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement on or before April 25, 2022 by 4:30 P.M. (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. The Chief Procurement Officer or designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all proposals if it is in the public interest to do so.
