at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read. Bid documents and specifications will be available at no charge beginning April 4, 2022 through the Citys website; www.springfieldcityhall.com Please refer to the bid number and opening date when requesting. The services included in this bid will fall under M.G.L. Ch. 30B and other applicable procurement statutes.

The City of Springfield is soliciting bids for vendors to provide golf shop merchandise for resale in May. The successful bidder will provide a line of golf shop merchandise. Vendor must submit a percentage of the gross sale that will be paid to the City of Springfield Parks Department as payment to stock the Franconia and Veterans Club House with merchandise for sale. Typical inventory shall include golf apparel, hats, t-shirts, polos, shorts, pants, jackets, shoes, socks, gloves, golf tees, hand warmers, range finders, golf balls, golf bags, and towels, etc.
All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received in writing by the Office of Procurement by April 13, 2022 at 4:30 P.M by emailing lstabilo@springfieldcityhall.com and hopebutto@springfieldcityhall.com. The City of Springfield goal of twenty (20%) MWBE participation applies. The Office of Procurement reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
