at which time they will be publicly opened and read in the Office of Procurement.

The City of Springfield is seeking bids from qualified firms to enter into an agreement to provide interior painting services at Central High School, 1840 Roosevelt Ave, Springfield, MA 01109. This bid falls under M.G.L. Ch. 149 and other procurement statutes.

Work includes, but is not limited to: interior painting and associated labor tasks (scraping, patching, sanding) of selected areas. Estimated value of the contract is approximately $45,000.00. Bid documents can be requested through the City’s website; www.springfield-ma.gov (during normal business hours) beginning on March 16, 2022.

There is a MANDATORY SITE VISIT on 3/23/22 at 9:00A.M. on-site. All questions regarding the IFB or its specifications must be received in writing by the Office of Procurement on or before March 24, 2022 by 4:30 P.M. (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) in order to be considered

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. Massachusetts Division of Occupational Safety Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
