SEALED BIDS FOR: Prime/General Contractor contracts are requested through the Office of Procurement. Bidding procedures are per Massachusetts General Laws (M.G.L.) Chapter 149 as amended and other applicable statutes.

The City of Springfield is seeking bids for the installation of new flooring at the Springfield Public Day High School located at 90 Berkshire St., Indian Orchard, MA 01151 and Warner Elementary School located at 493 Parker St., Springfield, MA 01129. Estimated cost of each project is $100,000.00.

A mandatory site visit has been scheduled for February 22, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at the Springfield Public Day High School, 90 Berkshire St., Indian Orchard, MA. (Contact: Jon Carignan jcarignan@springfieldcityhall.com).

Bids will be accepted at City of Springfield, Office of Procurement 36 Court St., Room 307, Springfield, MA 01103 until 2:00 PM: March 8, 2022 at which time they will be publicly opened and read.

All questions regarding the bid or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement (Hbutton@springfieldcityhall.com) by February 25, 2022 at 4:30 p.m.

Bid No.: 22-111: Warner Elementary School

A mandatory site visit has been scheduled for February 23, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at the Warner Elementary School 493 Parker St., Springfield, MA. (Contact: Jon Carignan jcarignan@springfieldcityhall.com).

Bids will be accepted at City of Springfield, Office of Procurement 36 Court St., Room 307, Springfield, MA 01103 until 2:00 PM: March 8, 2022 at which time they will be publicly opened and read.

All questions regarding the bid or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement (Hbutton@springfieldcityhall.com) by February 25, 2022 at 4:30 p.m.

All bidders are advised that the minimum wage rate schedule, issued by the Massachusetts Department of Labor and Standards are included in the specifications and shall prevail in the work on this project. All bidders are advised the City has a 20% goal for MWBE.

The Deputy Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in, or to reject any or all responses, if in the public interest to do so.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
