at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read. Bid documents and specifications will be available at no charge beginning August 31, 2021, at the Office of Procurement from 9:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., or through the City website; www.springfieldcityhall.com. Please refer to the bid number and opening date when requesting. The services included in this bid will fall under M.G.L. Ch. 30B section 5 and other applicable procurement statutes.

The City of Springfield is seeking a Vendor to supply a significant amount of Automotive Parts for Fire Vehicles for the Springfield Fire Department, on an as needed basis.

The City intends to award up to two (2) contract(s) to the lowest responsible and eligible bidders. The estimated value shall not exceed $100,000.00 per year. The initial term of this contract will be for One (1) year, but will include Two (2) one-year in length renewal options, to be exercised at the City’s sole discretion.

All questions regarding this bid or its specifications must be received in writing by the Office of Procurement on or before September 9, 2021 at 4:30 P.M. (sduncan@springfieldcityhall.com) in order to be considered.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
