at which time they will be publicly opened and read via teleconference (Call in Number: (413) 784-4951, ID# 312372#) in the Office of Procurement.

Bid documents and specifications will be available through the City website on July 14, 2021 or may be picked up in the Office of Procurement, 36 Court Street, Room 307, Springfield, MA 01103. Any bids received after the specified time will not be accepted. This bid is subject to M.G.L. c. 30B (5).

The City is seeing qualified vendors to furnish and deliver pesticides and fertilizer supplies for municipal golf courses and City parks to the Department of Parks, Buildings & Recreation Management of the City of Springfield. The City intends to award a contract to up to five (5) vendors that are the most responsible and responsive bidders offering the lowest prices. The total value of all contracts awarded from this IFB is estimated to be a value of $500,000.00.

All questions regarding the IFB or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement on or before July 22, 2021 by 4:30 P.M. (ttheocles@springfieldcityhall.com) in order to be considered.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
