22-003 - PA: Musical Instruments, Supplies and Accessories

End date: Wednesday June 23, 2021 at 2 p.m.

The Springfield Public School Department is seeking to obtain a price agreement to purchase high-quality musical instruments, supplies and accessories for various Springfield Public Schools. The vendor will provide a hand inspection, play test and hand delivery (by the vendor’s employee) for all instruments, supplies and equipment to individual Springfield Public Schools locations. Nothing will be drop shipped, and nothing will need to be unpacked by the school.

The initial term of the contract award is One (1) year in length, and the City will retain Two (2) one-year in length renewal options. The estimated value of the contract is not to exceed $ 300,000.00 per year. This bid is subject to M.G.L. Ch. 30B.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement no later than June 15, 2021 by 4:00 pm. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
