at which time the bids will be privately opened and logged at the Office of Procurement.

IFB specifications can be requested during normal business hours or through the City’s website, www.springfieldcityhall.com, for no charge beginning on 4/29/21.

The City of Springfield through its Department of Public Schools, is seeking bid responses from qualified vendors to furnish, supply, and deliver Eight (8) Thirteen Inch (13”) lathes for Putnam Machine Shop. The awarded contract will include both the furnishing and delivery of the specified equipment, as well as associated costs.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement no later than May 7, 2021 4:30 P.M. in order to be considered (ttheocles@springfieldcityhall.com). Answers to questions will be made through numbered addenda issued by the City.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
