The City of Springfield is seeking qualified contractors to provide Flooring Installation services for Springfield Public Schools/ South End Middle School in Springfield, MA 01105. This bid falls under M.G.L. Ch. 149 and other procurement statutes.

Work includes, but is not limited to: flooring upgrades and/or installation and associated labor tasks (removal of existing flooring, patching, leveling) including cove base, of selected areas of South End Middle School.

Estimated value of the contract is approximately $100,000.00.

Bid documents can be requested through the Citys website; www.springfieldcityhall.com (during normal business hours) beginning on February 24, 2021.

There is a mandatory site visit on 3/3/2021 at 9A.M. - 11A.M. on site at South End Middle School, located at 36 Margaret Street, Springfield, MA 01105.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
