at which time the bids will be privately opened and recorded in the OOP Bid Room. Bid documents will be available February 24, 2021 at the Office of Procurement.
The City of Springfield is issuing this Request for Proposals to Food Service Management companies who have an interest to prepare and package Senior Lunch Meals. The City is interested in receiving proposals from companies that established the ability to successfully operate a program the approximate size, scope of senior center by identifying programs of similar (100-150) plus meals per day size. The City hereby requests competitive sealed proposals in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30B, § 6.
The term of the contract is estimated to be The estimated contract value is not to exceed $350,000.00 per year.
All questions must be submitted in writing and received no later than March 4, 2021 to ttheocles@springfieldcityhall.com by 4:30 P.M. EST in order to be considered. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. The CPO/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
