at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read. Bid documents and specifications will be available at no charge beginning April 5, 2021, at the Office of Procurement from 9:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., or through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com. Please refer to the bid number and opening date when requesting. The services included in this bid will fall under M.G.L. Ch. 30B and other applicable procurement statutes.

The City is seeking a Vendor to supply Tasers, holsters and accessories on an as needed basis. SPD is also looking for the Vendor to perform necessary training and maintenance to ensure safety throughout the City.

The City intends to award One (1) contract to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder. The estimated value of the contract shall not exceed $150,000.00 per year. The initial term of this contract will be for One (1) year, but will include Two (2) automatic one-year in length renewals, to be exercised at the City’s sole discretion.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement by April 12, 2021 at 4:30 P.M. The City of Springfield goal of twenty (20%) MWBE participation applies. The Office of Procurement reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
