21-056 - On-Call Fencing Repairs; Furnish and Install

The City is seeking Contractors to furnish all necessary supervision, labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to supply, install, and repair various types of fencing which include but are not limited to; Ornamental, Chain Link, Gates, and Posts. The services will be in various locations throughout the City on an as needed basis as determined by the Facilities Department.

The City intends to award up to Three (3) potential contracts to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder(s). The estimated value of the contract(s) shall not exceed $250,000.00 per year. The initial term of this contract will be for One (1) year, but will include Two (2) one-year in length renewal options, to be exercised at the City’ sole discretion.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement by October 21, 2020 at 4:30 P.M. (sduncan@springfieldcityhall.com).

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
