Request for Qualifications (RFQ) DESIGNER SELECTION FOR OLD FIRST CHURCH FEASIBILITY STUDY

At which time the Proposals will be privately opened and read. RFQ documents and specifications will be available beginning on August 26, 2020 on the City’s website, www.springfieldcityhall.com.

The City of Springfield seeks qualification and price proposals from qualified Preservation Professionals to perform the project entitled “Feasibility Study for Old First Church”, a City building located at The Old First Church (“PARK”) is located at 50 Elm Street in the City of Springfield. The feasibility study is intended to assess the buildings current condition, related constraints to redevelopment and possible recommendations to address identified issues. The Design for the feasibility study will be negotiated, and is not to exceed $80,000.00.

Proposers must submit written questions to the Office of Procurement no later than 9/9/20 at 4:30 P.M in order to be considered (ttheocles@springfieldcityhall.com). The Office of Procurement fax number is (413) 787-6295. Questions will be answered via numbered addenda sent to all plan holders.

All Proposals becomes the property of the City of Springfield. The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to reject any and all proposals if it is in the best interest of the City to do so. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts.
