at which time the bids will be privately opened and logged at the Office of Procurement.

RFP specifications can be requested in person at the Office of Procurement during normal business hours or through the City’s website, www.springfieldcityhall.com, for no charge beginning on 1/27/20.

The City is seeking proposals for a Consultant to the City and perform a targeted tree inventory for the City (City Wide). The City has maintained a digital street tree inventory since 2005. The forestry division is seeking to update much of the data collected nearly 15 years that may no longer be accurate. Contract will be up to One (1) year in length and estimated not to exceed $200,000.00. Funding is contingent on grant funding.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement no later than February 4, 2020 4:30 P.M. in order to be considered (ttheocles@springfieldcityhall.com). Answers to questions will be made through numbered addenda issued by the City.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
