at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read. Bid documents and specifications will be available at no charge beginning November 12, 2019, at the Office of Procurement from 9:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., or through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com. Please refer to the bid number and opening date when requesting. The services included in this bid will fall under M.G.L. Ch. 30§ 5 and other applicable procurement statutes.

The City is seeking qualified bidders to furnish, supply, and deliver 7 Turnout Gear Washers to 7 Fire Department locations throughout the City. Bidder must be able to remove existing washers during installation. There is no construction contemplated under this solicitation. The City intends to award a single contract to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement by November 19, 2019 at 4:30 P.M. The City of Springfield goal of twenty (20%) MWBE participation applies. The Office of Procurement reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
