20-069 - Supply and Delivery of Paint Supplies

The City of Springfield invites all interested, qualified persons or firms capable of providing the requested goods, to submit bids for the purchase and delivery of various paint supplies to the City of Springfield. This IFB is subject to M.G.L. c. 30B § 5.

The City intends to award a contract to the bidder(s) that provides the lowest cost of the goods to the City. Estimated value of the contract is approximately $175,000.00 per year. The initial term of the Contract will be one year, but will contain two (2) one-year in length renewal options, to be exercised at the City’s sole discretion. Bid documents can be requested through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com or in person (during normal business hours) beginning on November 12, 2019.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all proposals if it is in the public interest to do so.

All questions regarding the IFB or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement on or before November 19, 2019 by 4:30 PM (sduncan@springfieldcityhall.com) in order to be considered.
