20-043 - PA: Music Curriculum:GamePlan Complete K-5

Bid specifications can be requested in person at the Office of Procurement during normal business hours or through the Citys website www.springfieldcityhall.com, for no charge beginning on 9/12/19. Any bids received after the specified time will not be accepted. This bid is subject to M.G.L. Ch. 30B.

The Springfield Public Schools (SPS) is currently seeking suppliers of GamePlan Complete K-5 Music Curriculum for up to of 24 schools throughout the district. The SPS has acquired many Orff instruments and is interested in a music curriculum, such as GamePlan, that focuses on Orff methodology, and is supported by the Kodaly philosophy of music instruction. Additionally, the aligned digital supplements offered through the GamePlan curriculum will support the type of music instruction described above while also advancing the District’s 1:1 model presented through the WeLearn initiative.


SPS is looking to enter into a Price Agreement with a total not to exceed amount of $90,000.00.

Price agreement period will be from October 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement at least seven business days prior to bid opening.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.

The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
