at which time they will be publicly opened and read in the Office of Procurement Bid Room.
Bid documents will be available September 2, 2019 in person at the Office of Procurement or through the City’s website (www.springfieldcityhall.com). This bid is subject to M.G.L. c.30B § 5.

The Springfield Department of Public Works (DPW) is seeking to obtain a price agreement for Sand for Winter Sanding. The successful bidder must be capable of delivering a minimum of 500 tons in an 8 hour day. The estimated value of the contract is not to exceed $100,000.00 per year. The term of the contract awarded is One (1) year in length with Two (2) annual options to renew.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement no later than September 11, 2019 by 4:00 P.M. to Erin Hand at ehand@springfieldcityhall.com . The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
