at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read. Bid documents and specifications will be available at no charge beginning July 15, 2019, at the Office of Procurement from 9:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., or through the Citys website; www.springfieldcityhall.com. Please refer to the bid number and opening date when requesting. The services included in this bid will fall under M.G.L. Ch. 30B and other procurement statutes.

The City is seeking Vendors who must be fully registered as a motor vehicle repair shop defined under chapter 100A of the Massachusetts General Laws. The City request that the vendor has at least 8 full time shop personnel to guarantee repair work will be completed within 5 days. This bid is for service and repairs only.

The City intends to award up to Two (2) potential contracts to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder(s). The estimated value of each contract shall not exceed $75,000.00 per year. The initial term of this contract will be for One (1) year, but will include Two (2) one-year in length renewal options, to be exercised at the Citys sole discretion.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement by July 22, 2019 at 4:30 P.M. The City of Springfield goal of twenty (20%) MWBE participation applies. The Office of Procurement reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
