At which time the Proposals will be privately opened and read. RFQ documents and specifications will be available beginning on October 21, 2019 on in person at the Office of Procurement or through the City’s website for no charge.
The City of Springfield seeks qualifications from qualified Architects/Designers to perform design services for the project entitled; “Science and Technology High School Electrical Infrastructure”.
The Scope of services will include, but will not be limited to, the design and construction administration of various lighting and sound upgrades at Springfield Symphony Hall. The City is seeking designs, limited specifications and construction documents for the above-mentioned project work, and continuing through the bidding and construction administrative phases, including final closeouts and warranties.
There will be an optional site visit on March 26, 2020 at 9:00 A.M on-site at Springfield Science and Technology or by appointment by contacting Jonathan Carignan (jcarignan@springfieldcityhall.com).
The Design Fee is to be a fixed fee, not to exceed 10% of the Estimated Construction Cost, which is $300,000.00. This RFQ will be conducted pursuant to M.G.L. Ch. 7C§§44-57. Proposers must submit written questions no later than April 15, 2020 at 4:30 P.M. Questions may be faxed or emailed (ttheocles@springifeldcityhall.com).
All Proposals becomes the property of the City of Springfield. The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to reject any and all proposals if it is in the best interest of the City to do so. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent (20%) minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts.
