RFP specifications can be requested in person at the Office of Procurement during normal business hours or through the City’s website, www.springfieldcityhall.com, for no charge beginning on 12/26/18.
The City of Springfield though it’s Department of Parks, Buildings, and Recreation Management (DPBRM) is seeking proposals from qualified individuals, corporations, or business entities (whether for-profit or non-profit) to operate, manage and maintain a food concession facility at the Veterans Golf Course. The successful proposal will, at a minimum, provide affordable, high-quality food and beverage items for consumption in a Club house environment during a minimum operating season of April 1 through November 30, daily (seven days a week).
The concession is expected to be prepared and open by a date to be established by the DPB&RM after selection of a Concessionaire but no later than the Sunday prior-to April 1, unless such a later date is specifically approved by the DPB&RM. The Concessionaire shall operate and have available the ability to accept credit/debit cards by major providers for payment for all products sold upon commencement and through the duration of the contract.
All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement no later than 1/15/19, 4:30 P.M. in order to be considered (ttheocles@springfieldcityhall.com). Answers to questions will be made through numbered addenda issued by the City.
The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
