RFP specifications can be requested in person at the Office of Procurement during normal business hours or through the City’s website, www.springfieldcityhall.com, for no charge beginning on 11/13/18.

The City of Springfield, Massachusetts acting through its Police Department, is seeking qualified proposers to submit proposals to provide consulting services to the City of Springfield to develop and obtain a new Body Worn Camera (“BWC”) system. Basic services will include, subsequent solicitation development, contract negotiation, implementation, and continued trainings. The BWC consulting services proposed should provide a comprehensive approach to the coordination and administration of a BWC policy, including compliance verification processes and risk mitigation processes.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement no later than 11/23/18, 4:30 P.M. in order to be considered. Answers to questions will be made through numbered addenda issued by the City.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
