19-062 - Invitation for Bid for City of Springfield E-Waste Disposal

Scope of services shall consist of providing a disposal facility for the collection of E-waste collected by the City of Springfield’s Department of Public Works bulk collection program. City DPW will collect items and transport to disposal facility.

Bid documents and specifications will be available beginning Monday, October 22, 2018 at the Office of Procurement, 36 Court Street, Room 307, Springfield, MA 01103 during normal business days, Monday through Friday between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM.

The successful bidder shall commence by November 15, 2018, or whenever a formal contract has been fully executed.

The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so All bids for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, (M.G.L.) Chapter 30B inclusive as amended. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twentey percent (20%) minority and women particiapation in all contracts.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received in writing by the Office of Procurement no later than October 29, 2018 by 4:00 P.M.
