at which time they will be publicly opened and read in the Office of Procurement Bid Room.
Bid documents will be available May 9, 2018 in person at the Office of Procurement or through the City’s website (www.springfieldcityhall.com).

The Springfield Fire Department is seeking to obtain a price agreement for Parts and Services for Bauer SCBA Air Compressors. The estimated value of the contract is not to exceed $20,000.00 per year. The bidder must be able to respond, supply parts, and perform service maintenance on Bauer Air Compressors located onsite at the Springfield Fire Department located at 1535 Roosevelt Avenue, Springfield MA 01104. Responses to Bid No. 18-153 must include all required documents, completed, and signed. The initial term of the contract awarded is One (1) year in length, and the City will retain Two (2) one-year in length renewal options. This bid is subject to M.G.L. c.30B § 5.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement no later than May 17, 2018 by 4:30 P.M. to Erin Hand at ehand@springfieldcityhall.com . The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
