Sealed bids for a Prime Contractor contract are requested through the Office of Procurement. Bidding procedures are per Massachusetts General Laws (M.G.L.) Chapter 149 as amended and other applicable statutes.

Bids for Prime/General Contractor will be accepted at the Office of Procurement (Room 307 City Hall) until 2:00PM on May 11, 2018 at which time they will be publicly opened and read.

Kiley Interior Door Replacement. The City of Springfield would like to solicit bids for the replacement of interior smoke doors throughout the building as noted on prints. The successful contractor will furnish and install all materials as well as full demo and area prep.

An optional site visit on site at Kiley Middle School (180 Cooley Street) has been scheduled for 5/1/18 at 2:00 P.M. (Contact: Matt Dovell; mdovell@springfieldcityhall.com). Contractor must agree to pay Prevailing Wage.

Bid Forms and Contract Documents will be available for pick-up at www.biddocsonline.com on April 25, 2018 (may be viewed electronically and hard copy requested) or at or at Nashoba Blue, Inc. at 433 Main Street, Hudson, MA 01749 (978-568-1167).

Bidders requesting Contract Documents to be mailed to them shall include a separate check for $40.00 per set for UPS Ground (or $65.00 per set for UPS overnight), payable to BidDocs ONLINE Inc. to cover mail handling costs.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement by May 2, 2018, 4:30 P.M. The City of Springfield goal of twenty (20%) MWBE participation applies. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
