at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read. Bid documents and specifications will be available through the City’s website on April 20, 2018 or may be picked up in the Office of Procurement, 36 Court Street, Room 307, Springfield, MA 01103. Any bids received after the specified time will not be accepted. This bid is subject to M.G.L. c. 30B § 5.
The City is seeing qualified vendors to establish pesticides and fertilizers supplies for golf courses to the Department of Parks, Buildings & Recreation Management of the City of Springfield, The City intends to award a contract to up to six (6) vendors that are the most responsible and responsive bidders offering the lowest prices. The total value of all contracts awarded from this RFP is estimated to be a value of $500,000.00.
All bidders are advised that the City of Springfield encourages the use of minority and women-owned business enterprises (“MWBE”) and expects a good faith effort to comply with the City’s goal of twenty (20%) percent MWBE participation.
The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
